Contest

I try to challenge phil by issuing contests to them. The first one was to interpret one of my most bizarre dreams. The second was to nominate a movie, and why they should be the one to go with me. Last Friday, I released the third contest. Here are the details of the third contest:

The prize
2 free tickets for any Shaw cinema. Yes, you get both, I will not make you watch the movie with me.

The contest

A. Suggest one topic that i can write about on my blog. As i usually make references, you should also state how you want to be mentioned in it.
(I am not out of topics, just that I thought it would be cool to get some phil-inspiration)

Evaluation criteria includes the following:
1. It should generally "jive" with me - e.g. Economics is a no-no, Ultimate is ok
2. It should not be something that i have already written about
3. How creatively you put yourself into the topic

B. Suggest appropriate music to accompany my blog.
You have to give me the song name and artiste.

Evaluation criteria includes the following:
1. It should not contain swear words. I would prefer music with no words, but i can be flexible on that if you have got something really good.
2. It should generally "jive" with me - e.g. chinese opera is not ok, Avril is ok (but it doesn't mean that you'll win if you suggest an avril song)
3. I should be able to make out and understand the words (if any). While chinese songs are ok, please do not give me some Jay Chou song.
4. It should complement, not distract from the blog.

The deadline
All entries were to be sent to ME ONLY by thursday 14 april midnight.

The results
Jukebox, Meeshell, Azzamac and Crispy Prawn participated. Jukebox's entry was hilarious - something about boys, animals and... hmm, I think I will stop there. Meeshell's was actually not too bad. Azzamac's stab was surprisingly simple and I had half a mind to give it to him. But Crispy Prawn's was the one that really spoke to me.

So she wins. What did she suggest? You will find out soon enough. (Funny, I thought that last two lines sounded strangely ike, "Who am I? I'm Spiderman.")

As for the ideas generated by the other three, I think I can work them out. You will see.

You want in?
Well, the contest may be over, but if you want to contribute as well, send me an email at mashpot at hotmail dot com, or just write a comment below. It will be great to hear from you.
