This is the latest movie by Jackie Chan. He is an archaeologist who has dreams of a time and love from the Qin Dynasty. The movie is about his exploration of this mystery and the other historical myths.

This movie was better than I expected. But what I really like about it is the theme song (title: 《无尽的爱》 or “Endless Love”) from the movie. You will not believe how many times I have played this song over and over again all in one sitting. It is incredibly beautiful. The lyrics are in Chinese and Korean and sung by Jackie Chan and…

Never heard of Jack Johnson till one day at the CD store. I like this song (playing now) because it just makes you want to kick back and relax. Sounds very Hawaiian/Carribean. And being that I often get into an escapist mood these days, this song helps bring me far away from wherever I am. I hope you guys like this too.

There's no combination of words
I could put on the back of a postcard
No song that I could sing
But I can try for your heart
Our dreams, and they are made out of real things
Like a,…

Attended the wake of Ms. X-ray's grandma yesterday. Surprised though when Curly (an old school mate of mine - we used to have a lot of fun in high school) appeared and turned out to be Ms. X-ray's first cousin. He was also a friend of Crispy Prawn's and a friend of a friend of someone else at our table. What a small world. In Singapore at least. Seems like almost everybody knows somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody who knows you.

Last I recall of Curly, he left a pretty sour impression about 5 years ago. I cannot remember…
